This Privacy Policy describes how Underground Universe ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application (the "App"). We are based in Cleveland, Ohio. By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
When you create an account, we collect your email address, username, display name, and birthdate to create and manage your account and verify age eligibility.
Information you add to your profile, such as a bio, avatar, background image, location (city, state, or region), and contact details.
If you grant the App permission to access your device's location, we may collect and process your current location to display your current location within the App and provide applicable location-related features.
Depending on the permissions you grant and the features you use, the App may request access to your location while you are using the App or, where supported and necessary for an applicable feature, access to your location in the background. You can manage or revoke location permissions through your device settings.

Photos, videos, text posts, rumors, music, and other content you upload or share through the App.
If you choose to use features that allow you to save pictures to your device's Photos library, the App may request permission to add your desired picture to your Photos library.

We collect analytics data about how you interact with the App, including session duration, scroll depth, video watch time, content engagement, and technical performance metrics such as latency and buffering events.

You may request deletion of your account through the App's settings or available account-support features. Your profile may be archived before associated information is permanently deleted following the applicable retention period.
You can manage which notifications you receive through your profile settings.
You can control who sees your posts, rumors, followers, and profile sections through your privacy settings.
You can manage or revoke the App's access to location and other device permissions through your device's privacy and settings controls. Revoking a permission may prevent certain App features from functioning.
If you are a resident of certain jurisdictions, such as California or the European Union, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws, including the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data.
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
Despite these measures, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The App is intended only for individuals who are 16 years of age or older.
Anyone who is 15 years old or younger is strictly prohibited from creating an account or using the App.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 16 through the App. If we learn that an individual under 16 has created an account or provided personal information, we may suspend or terminate the account and take reasonable steps to delete the associated information.
If you believe we have collected information from someone under 16, please contact us through the App's support or messaging features so we can review the situation and take appropriate action.
We use our own in-house analytics system to track engagement, retention, technical performance, and growth metrics directly from user interactions within the App.
This data is used to improve the App experience and is not shared with third-party advertising networks for targeted advertising purposes.

When we make significant changes, we may notify you through the App or by other reasonable means.
Continued use of the App after an updated Privacy Policy becomes effective means you acknowledge the revised Privacy Policy, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
